VOLUNTEER!

Human-scale farming is deeply rewarding work. It gets us into our bodies and out of our heads. It connects us to the rhythms, smells, sensations, and beauty of the natural world. It is a great space for camaraderie and connecting with others.

It also goes much better with many hands! Our crew is small and mighty, but we could always use another set of hands to help pull weeds or pick peppers!

We welcome volunteers to come out and assist in our veggie and flower gardens. We value getting to know more people and growing this community. Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Please accept our gifts of veggies in return for your gift of labor!

VOLUNTEER SHIFTS

Main Season (February 15-November 31)

MONDAYS - FRIDAYS 8am-11am

3 hours is doable shift for most folks, and stopping by 11am gets you out of the highest heat. You’re welcome to end earlier if you prefer, or arrange for an alternative shift within our normal working hours.

Many volunteers like to stay for lunch to visit more. You’re welcome to rest or work til the whole team breaks at 12noon. Please bring your own sack lunch if you’d like to join us (we’ve got fridge space if you need).

Please fill out the contact form below and we will follow up by phone.

Please also read our volunteer waiver before your shift. You can bring a signed copy or we’ll provide one for you to sign when you arrive.

While we are open and community-oriented, our farm is also our home. We don’t welcome unannounced visits and reserve the right to deny anyone entry.
